"Farmette" is a real term, if only in real estate. But it isn't French, as far as I know. Even if it were, you wouldn't use a masculine article (le) with a feminine adjective (petite). However, it wouldn't exactly go over well if I were to explain that to the denizens of said farmette, would it?
