[Even without the camera eventually focusing in on Danny Fenton's perplexed and thoroughly confused expression, Naomi Javert would have recognized that hauntingly familiar voice instantly. It was one that she had heard often enough in her dreams and memories.

It was Danny, the boy who had been her laboratory assistant in Somarium. The boy who had been her son in their former life together.

She can barely get out a reply to him. Judging from his questions, it would appear that this Danny has no memories of Somarium. No memories of her as his mother. Well, no memories of her at all.

But any pain she feels is held back. For the moment.] You're in Somarium.

[It's pointless to keep holding onto her hope, but she just can't let it go quite yet. Please remember. Please, Danny.]

*Danny appears startled by the sight of her, and it takes him a moment to pull his thoughts together. Someone familiar with the nuances of his expressions would probably note that his next is a very searching stare, one that's trying to discretely place her while maintaining a safe distance. He doesn't recognize her--that much is obvious. What's just as obvious, however, is that he does recognize her, and that this paradox is unlikely to answer Naomi's questions to the least satisfaction.*

Um. That's--this whole place?

[Yes, she's very unsatisfied, but that doesn't mean that Naomi will be at all rude. She may notice a strange expression flicker across the boy's face, but for now, she won't push it.]

Yes, that's correct, the whole place is Somarium. The city itself is known as Somni City while the village is simply Espoir.

*Danny rolls his head back for a moment, looking up at the skyline, and then down the street for any sign of a village. Then he looks back at the camera, opening his mouth, then closing it again.*

... Look, this probably sounds really weird, but--do I know you?

Well, I'm not sure what a "bus" is, but I think you have it right. A lot of people I've talked to fell asleep before they got here.
