I think I shall. I’m on the second book in TJ Klune’s M/M romantic comedy series, At First Sight. It’s called “The Queen and the Homo Jock King” and like most Klune, it’s pretty damn hilarious.

I am so relieved. Otherwise, I would have spent Memorial Day weekend preparing for a case that I cannot win.

Today was a bear.
I went non-stop pretty much all day. Didn’t have time to take a walk or a lunch break. So after work, I was so hungry that I decided to go out to eat, rather than go home and make something. I went to my favorite, Habanero Grill, and they were doing pretty good business for a Wednesday night.

Pentecostal Physics
A Holy Pentecost to one and all! We had glorious flowers today and actual vocal music from a small ensemble of choir members. (Alas, I was the only one who said “Amen” after the gorgeous Thomas Tallis piece. You can take the girl out of the Baptist church, but you can’t take the Baptist church out of the girl.) Cloches
As much as I love the way they look, I don’t have the right shape of face to wear a flapper cloche like Miss Fisher. My hairline is low, so they end up sitting too far down on my face.
The bubble cloches of the 60s are a different matter, altogether.
