I seriously think I'm becoming addicted to quotes from books. Before joining literaryquotes, I never really paid attention to especially beautiful passages in books or funny quotes. Now, whenever I read, I feel like I'm concentrating a lot more on the writing. I even have a notebook for my favorite book quotes now. So yeah, I guess it's not a bad thing ( Read more... )

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I had no idea you were Dutch! That's awesome...I don't think I've even heard Dutch before! Which is pretty sad, yikes.

That's awesome! :D I don't really get good quotes or stuff, I'm too busy in the story for the quotes to jump out at me... *sweatdrops* I specifically starting reading Twilight with the intention of finding all the good quotes but somehow I ended up going 2 chapters with none... That's when I knew something was wrong...

But somehow, after I read, I end up randomly quoting it... ^^;; Without ever writing the quotes down or anything. Like to explain a point to someone...

What I've been doing lately is getting into the writer's style. Like Meyer's style is different from Westerfeld's which is different from Twain's and Burns's etc. And I'm seeing which ones I like and which I don't. It's fun! :D

I just joined that group. Whenever I read a line in a book I like, I write it on a piece of paper I keep as a bookmark and then I put the ones I like the best in a journal that I bought to keep my favorite quotes, song lyrics, and poems by other people. that's neat that you keep a notebook too. I think it's cool to have that stuff kept somewhere you can look at again. :)

I know, that's why I love keeping different journals...I like looking back at what interested me at the time.

Well, thank you :D I switch them out all the time because I get tired of them quickly. And I love Pride and Prejudice as well, obviously. Have you read it before?

I got it for Christmas actually. My aunt gave it to me. I started reading it. It takes me a while to read some books, but I like it so far. Jane Austin was a really witty, romantic, open-minded person. She understood the hearts of those who were hidden within themselves.
