So Val and I have a friend, Stacey, who did a short film. It ended up on YouTube, and Stacey asked us to check it out?

Chris, do you recognize this co-star?

Weird. I thought I knew the girl who plays Tara for a minute. She's exactly like someone I knew in college.

Which is the weird thing for me. She actually IS someone I knew in college.

Stacey (the nurse) has this whole "Six degrees of Steve's entire fucking life" thing going on. I never knew her before two years ago. But she went to Whitman College with someone who I worked at Shultzy's with, and now she's doing short films with someone I knew in college and actually was roommates with for three months.

I'm basically waiting to find out that she was a short-term roommate of Mary Frank and dated Rich for a month. At that point the creepy-ass way-too-tied-into-Steve's-life cycle will be complete.

I watched it just waiting to see that somehow I would know one of them too to make it super weird.

(for those of you who don't know me, I am the aforementioned Chris.)

I had no idea until she stood up ... oh good lord, I'd recognize that lovely rack anywhere! It's "Crazy" Molly Boettcher! HIGH HOLY DAY LOL!! Have you been in contact with her recently? She looks ... healthy!

Wow, I don't really know how to address this. Mostly because YouTube has been acting up for me and I have yet to manage to watch the whole clip in one sitting. And I also realize you have a friend involved in this, too. Lets just say the movie probably won't win any awards this year, but we can all blame Michael Bay for that.

Thanks for the blast from the past. I'll email you my full report...

It was for a film project that was the equivelent of Once Upon a Weekend. I don't think anyone's expecting to pick up their Oscar from it. But alas, no, I haven't heard from Molly in years. I ran into Ireni at Ronnie Weiss' going-away party at Flowers (holy shit, was that a nostalgia trip), and still see Ken Smith and Jon Wiswell often, but no Molly.
