Happy Pi Day!

Mar 14, 2008 20:13

Today is March 14.

3.14

This is the most-used approximation for the ratio of a circle's circumference and diameter, the number Pi (π).

Hence, today is Pi Day, one of the geekier holidays out there.

I think I'll make myself a pizza for dinner. :)

Today is also Albert Einstein's birthday.

science, math, humor, pi

I love you too! :*

*walks around you, planting a perfect circle of kisses around your neck*

There you go, 2π radians worth of kisses. ;)

In school, I only memorized it to 3.14159 after which it was just a string of numbers.

At school it was one of the few mathematical concepts I understood, when there were people far better at math who didn't - go figure! So I join in your celebration, cheers to Pi!
