I spent some time on the phone with my_lady_gothic last night, reassuring her that I was safe after the tornadoes that hit Georgia yesterday.  It came out that they don't get tornadoes in her area, and she'd never had tornado drills in school.  She's also far enough inland and north to be safe from hurricanes.  They have icy roads and blizzards, but apparently
