absolutely.....!
hebrews is incredulous......
my hermeneutics teacher told us that you cannot fully understand hebrews unless you are a stud in the old testament, and i see that more and more. Im working from genesis to esther now and when i read hebrews a couple weeks back i was like.....good night man this is so much more significant now, and i understand it better!
"Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come' glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:1-3
We need to be humbled, and giving praise to God all the while that we were given to Jesus by God, and that we have inherited eternal life because of it. And what is eternal life? KNOWING GOD!
Wow...i could just go on for a while but i'll leave it at that.
Praise God!
