What a lovely run-down of my own themes; wonderful reassurance I'd done what I set out to. Thanks for reading! Those are all excellent points. I especially wanted to point out that it was not required, for Erik, that the object of his desire be necessarily "sexualized" in dress or lack thereof. I found it more interesting for the circumstances themselves to be arousing to him. And who knows, after all, what he thought of the Persian being there?

I also wanted to experiment with the 1st person Persian/2nd person address. It came to me that way, that he would be focused entirely on the incident's relationship to Erik.

Thanks again for your comments, they're always insightful and helpful. And for the nit, that's a very good thing to get right.
