Oh look, a header post......
I'm female, 21, i live in Australia (otherwise known as that strange little country in the southern hemisphere with those big jumping mice and drop-bears), i love to read and write fanfiction for a variety of fandoms, I’m a cosplayer, and a anime fanatic.
Currently I’m finishing off a diploma in Horticulture at TAFE which will more then likely just be used for my own personal gardens. It was a random choice done during studying for the HSC (the final exams we take in year 12 down here in Oz). I've also started on the training needed to be a Zoo Keeper at Taronga Zoo here in Sydney. I love animals and have never been able to stay away from the zoo. I did my year 10 work experience there, volunteered as a keeper for six months once I hit over 18, and now I’m working on the qualifications to get a job there.
To pay for these courses I’m working permanent/part-time as a check-out chick at Coles (one of the main supermarkets down here). Not the most glamorous of jobs, but I’ve got some wonderful regular customers that are usually in the mood for a nice conversation, and my co-workers are a amazingly crazy bunch of people. I hold to the belief that you have to be slightly crazy to work in customer service, I know it drives me loony at times. Usually towards the end of a nine hour shift.
When I’m not doing these, I’m either watching copious amounts of anime, reading manga, playing RPGs, reading/writing fanfiction, or cosplaying.
Anime is something I’ve been into since i was in year nine. Unfortunately i got into it half a year after choosing not to learn Japanese at highschool. A decision i still regret to this day. But there are plans to rectify this lack of knowledge in the near future. And until then I’m blessed with friends who speak the language. Series wise I’m currently following Naruto, Bleach, Hellsing, D.Gray-man, Ouran High School Host Club, Vampire Knight, Kyo Kara Maoh!, and Prince of Tennis.
Through anime I discovered a wonderful aspect of Japanese pop-culture. Live anime musicals. I was introduced to the Bleach musicals (burimyu) by a friend last year and was instantly addicted. This lead me into getting into the Prince of Tennis musicals (Tenimyu) which got me reading/watching Prince of Tennis so i could understand what was going on. Now i follow several cast members from both series and their work. The more i immerse myself in Japanese theatre, the more i find myself falling in love with it.
Game wise, I’m addicted to the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Heart series. FFVII and FFVIII are my favourites and I worship the creator of Crisis Core. That game is a fangirls' heaven. I'm also a lover of the Phoenix Wright series. I currently own the first and fourth ones. I finished the first one and went straight to playing the fourth one cause it was the easiest for me to get my hands on. Eventually I'll buy the second and third ones. Eventually....*sweatdrop* I've recently been introduced to 'The World Ends with You' game. I've not played much of it yet, so I’ll make a proper opinion of it when i have.
I was introduced to cosplay back at the end of 2006 and though I was reluctant at first I’ve since become obsessed and haven't looked back. To date, I have cosplayed as:

This area is also for me to list what cosplays i'd like to do in the future. I'm already in the process of organsing some for 2008. Cosplays will be added and removed as my ideas and skills develop.
