I Can't Lose You Again 13cwby30April 12 2008, 17:27:06 UTC
Mornin',Alex.
Well, nice to have another chapter, it's a good take on what could have happened if... OMT becoming a better grandfather than father, maybe Bobby will make him realize what he missed while Jack was growing up by being too harsh on his only son, always thought there must be more to OMT than the story said and than what appears in most stories. Liked the comment about Jack's hearing not being as good on one side because of a rodeo injury, another reason why the Army didn't want him in '63. And good touch with the trip back to their Mountain, especially Ennis being the one who needed to go back, find the connection once again now that they have decided to stay together, and "they made love" this time because they have a life together ahead of them, and not just the prior frantic coupling because they only had a short time together. Just hope the visit by Ennis daughter(s) doesn't set them back.

Thanks a lot for you deep and articulated POW, I'm very pleased you liked this story, I wanted too add some little details to make it more complex. I hope to add something more soon, but I'd prefer to update Bluebells and Roses this week (or next) Thanks a lot again, Alex

Very nice chapter. It's so good to see Ennis and Jack back on their mountain. It will always be 'theirs' in their hearts, even if others have been there. Thanks. Carole
Yes to be together more then twice a year is important and learning to do that at the Twist farm is going to happen slowly but I think it will eventually. Thank you so much for giving us another chapter in this great story. Joe
Hallo Joe, thanks for commenting again, I'm glad you liked the development. The Twist farm is the focus of this story, and I wanted to write about the family relationship the Twists (+Delmars) have. Best regardss ALEX
Being back up on Brokeback brought memories for both Jack and Ennis of a time when they didn't have to contend with the real world, and now that they are in the real world together, they will be able to make new memories. I think they will be happy now that they are with each other. Thank you for this wonderful chapter. I'm looking forward to your next update. : ) Debra
Thanks a lot dear Debra, I imagined the journey to the mountain as a sort of relvelation for them both, not considering that for Ennis it could have a deeper meaning (the farewell of '63 and his pain).
