Very interesting beginning. Your English is fine. My parents are from Italy and I grew up spending my summers there-believe me I know plenty of native born Americans whose writing and spelling in English are horrible. Looking forward to more.

I understood perfectly what you wrote, don't worry, I'm sure you could manage very well here when speaking with people. I hope someday you''ll see my Lake! My parents spent their honeymoon in Naples and I have a dear friend from Sicily, we often took holidays together, but we're so fond of North Europe I never visited her native region!
ciao, Alex

This story pulled me in right away. The English is very good, much better than many native speakers can manage, as annabuffy said. Thank you so much for translating and posting this. I am anxious to read more. The subject of heredity is fascinating to me, and it touches on some things in my own life, as well.

Best regards,
Leslie

Good start! And I thought the English was darned near perfect. Larry? Not Bobby? *scratches head* I didn't read Bluebells and Roses, should I have? Whatever, I thought this was great and I hope we'll see more.

Whatever the reason for Jack's son in this universe being a different child from Bobby, who did match his coloring -- there's no connection to Bluebells and Roses. That is an excellent story, though, well worth a read.

Thanks a lot for your comment, in facr we'll see how the plot develops, so you could understand more....this story is a stand alone, but I'll be very pleased if you'll read my other works, Bluebells and Roses (an AUAU) and Mexico plus its sequel.
Best regards, Alex
