Thanks a lot Martha, you get the point, for the plot of this story we have to see a combined marriage, that was quite normale for the time and period.
Thanks a lot for appreciating my fic, best regards Alex

I'm sad, too, for them, but it was a necessary point for the story...don't worry, love climbs the highest mountains....thanks a lot for commenting, it's so important for me.

OMG!!!???? The necklace and ring were such wonderful gifts from Ennis to Jack and so was this: Tonight I’ll see your face only, and feel your body only. My kisses will always be for you, and my task for tonight is like that of a doctor with a patient. I have to be her husband but I’m your love and your soulmate. Remember always that I love you and I need you. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!

Not only is Ennis going to betray Jack with his body, but he's asking Jack too. Oh no. That's one good brother huh! Maybe we'll have a little Jack and a little Ennis...

Thanks for your opinion and for liking the letter part....sometimes written words are easier than spoken ones.
Thanks also for appreciating the whole plot.
best regards, Alex

This was a great chapter even if it is heartbreakingly sad. I can understand the pressure on Ennis to marry even though he's going to be miserable. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you for following my works.
This chapter was a little hard to write, but I think it's understendabel considering the timeline of the story.
I should be able to add something more soon, although I'm qorking also on "I can't lose you again".
Thanks again, greetings from the Lake of Como.
