Ooo, the plot thickens...I'm really enjoying this. I do like how tender Jack is with Lureen; you've turned her into a very sympathetic character. I eagerly await your next chapter. :)
Thanks a lot, I appreciate your commnt about the various characters of this fiction. I hope to add more soon, but I think to update "I can't lose you again" first. Grretings from Lake of Como, Alex
Ok, I'm worried now. Everything has gone fairly smoothly up until now. right up until Ennis say: "...Alma will have hers by then and she’ll be so busy she’ll forget about all of us.”" --Um, no. Alma is the type who will never forget anything and will forgive even less. Granted, her own baby will help things go more smoothly but if she should prove to be barren... ::shudders:: Surely Fate would not be so cruel?
I enjoyed this update very much and am looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for sharing.
I thank you for reading it ;-) well Alma isn't my favourite character in this fandom, but we'll see what will happens next! Thanks for your suggestions. Best regards, Alex
Thank you Lorna, well maybe the way I write depends partly to the fact that although I think and write directly in english, I live in Italy and my first language is italian, no matter how well I can use english, Thanks for appreciating my work, and don't worry about ALma
I like Ennis's decision to have his own room after the honeymoon. After all, it was neither his idea nor his wish to be married to Alma. And, later, when he decided to make Jack head butler for his own personal reasons, it just felt right that they would have more time together.
It was an accident that Lureen became pregnant, but, because she really does love Jack, she is determined to keep the child. I don't blame her. Any child of Jack's would be beautiful, girl or boy. It's going to be difficult for both Jack and Ennis not to see one another for months while Lureen has the baby, but, if everything goes well, a beautiful new member of the family will return with them and be surrounded (with the exception of Alma, of course) by love.
I can't say as I like Alma, but I do like Lureen in this.
You're doing a bang up job with this story. I can hardly wait for you to continue. : ) Debra
thanks a lot for your comment, it's good to have a valid feedback, in fact sometimes I read the entries on davecullenforum regarding other fictions, but maybe mines are not so excellent to be discussed there. Now I had to decide a specific turn of the plot, but the new ch. is partially drafted. But I think to update my other fic before this, if my beta is available. greetings from Como
