I was a little surprised but pleased that Ennis so readily accepted that Jack had to leave him to go to Childress, but, being a parent himself, I'm sure he understood how important it was to Jack to get his son away from LD, even if only for a little while. Hopefully Bobby will love his daddy's momma and want to come back again soon.

I'm enjoying reading this story so much. I'm looking forward to your next chapter. : )

I almost thought Ennis would want to go with Jack but I'm glad it worked out and yes LD is trying to buy his grandson but I think Bobby is more substantial then that and will just love Grandma Claire since true love can give you a feeling of fullness that fake love cannot. Joe
