This is such an achingly lovely story, Jack is back and Ennis and Jack are together but not together. How painful to know Ennis is out there watching over Jack, and will Jack keep to what he told himself not to be with Ennis? Their love for each other is far to strong. I hope they will find a way to be One once again.
You hold their destiny in your hand.
Thank you for updating I feel a little bit like I'm back in Jane Eyre's universe. I love it.

Awww... I was pleased to see this back! I'm very glad to see Jack back too..but it's not the same. I hope Jack changes his mind about being with Ennis.. poor Ennis watching Jack from the garden. Bobby seems an adorable little boy..but that Alma is horrible. Even saying nasty things about Lureen when she is dead. Gr...

YES it is marvelous even though under very sad circumstances that they are reunited as one again. I know that Ennis has plans for Jack and does not want him to return to Baltimore but how can he stay here with Alma and her wicked tongue and all the responsibilities that Ennis has as the Lord. Hmm I bet there were a lot of Lord's at one time or another who had male companions. I wonder if anyone ever researched this of course it was probably kept hush hush. LOrdy me I love englishmen who knows why though. Joe

I was so happy to see this update! :) I am glad that they are back together and that things are going smoothly for the moment (but I am sure that Alma will find a way to put an end to that.) I am looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you so much for sharing this.
