SNAKE! How cute! I am pleased for you. Snakes are nifty. I always wanted a snake, but they tend to make my mom weep with fear.
Ooh! Snake names! I love naming things (which would be why I named my cell phone and my external hard drive and my laptop and my air conditioner).

Snake names! In... fourth grade my class had a snake name Archimedes, though I rather preferred Euclid as a name. Or Ezra, which is an immeasurably snakey name, and the other option that the teachers overruled, darn them.
Astaroth is a cool name too! Um, the fallen angel who "teaches mathematical sciences and handicrafts, can make men invisible and lead them to hidden treasures, and answers every question formulated to him" Of course, very much involved with hell and such, being fallen. Hr. Belith also a cool name (and color coordinated with your snake! Belith was supposed to dress in red and was sometimes said to have red skin), but again with the hell and the devil and such.
