Yes, yes, I know I'm like a year late to the party. That's actually pretty good, for me.
I was really affected by some of this. It was raising questions of loyalty, forming groups and taking positions. How do we decide who is "us" and who is "them"? The dehumanizing effect of using other beings as tools, and the Doctor very actively fighting that, trying to take Amy beyond her limited perspective. (Where Rory is from the first. I loved Rory so much in this episode.)
I usually don't mind spoilers and don't avoid them, but I do regret having been spoiled for the end of the episode. No opinion on that right now.
I don't understand and don't like that the Doctor killed Ganger Amy. He had just spent two episodes establishing that yes, it is killing, not just decommissioning. Not happy about that, and I'm hoping it will be addressed later. And on a practical level, at what point was she replaced? She was seeing the ... jailer? doctor? ... in 6x02, I think. So does that mean that Original Amy doesn't know about the Doctor's death? (Did he kill Ganger Amy because he didn't want to hear about his own death?)
