Thanks, doll. It's good to check in. Did they tell you I stopped by that one time? How's the map industry holding up?

It's those lunch-packing instincts. Sometimes a picnic requires extra ingredients.

How are you miss? Making your way north again anytime soon?

Yeah. My next picnic is going to want some extra ingredients. I'm hoping to not overextend my packing skills and ya know... screw it up. Never know 'til ya try....

Me? I'm hanging in. Dealing with some weird stuff. Looking to rock past it. How are you? I sure wish I was heading North soon!!!! I'd love to see you again!! :-)

The time acceleration thing is real. What it is is that the longer you are alive, the shorter a proportion of your life is contained in an equal amount of time. The oldest guy I ever knew relatively well shot himself at the age of 99. He remarked, at one point, that the years and days just kept coming faster.

It's amazing how much more durable things are than people. I guess that's not really related, but still.

Time is a fraction pharminatrix September 16 2009, 22:01:40 UTC
My dad told me that back when a year was 1/8 or 1/9 and it made total sense, even though my understanding of the matter was purely intellectual. Now it actually *feels* true.

Hey, thank you again for *EVERYTHING*. Our household is a grateful household.
