Gargoyles: This one is tough because all the characters are great for different reasons. But I'd say it's a tie between Hudson and Elisa. Hudson because his struggle with being the clan's old timer in a world he doesn't understand was very well done and it was easy to feel for him. Plus, badass old men are always fun to watch. And Elisa because she's just awesome all around. She's a very unique type of character that you don't often see on TV (a strong woman-of-color who plays a major role in the story). And I like how the show didn't go overboard in playing her up as some uber-strong "grrrl powah" Mary Sue. So she was badass in a way that seemed realistic (even with the magical gargoyle friends) and obtainable to the little girls watching her adventures.
Darkwing Duck: When I was a kid; Gosalyn was my favorite because she was the cute tomboy who got to have all the adventures I wished I could have. But I think I like Launchpad better now. He's just a really lovable dude and he does a great job keeping the Mallard family grounded

great answers! I kind of liked Demona myself in gargoyles. And Elise and Goliath got together in the end right??? After watching slayers, i thought back to Launchpad being a Gourry of sorts! in a good way^^. I liked Gosayln also. I like Girl type ranma and all her disguises.
Oooh, this looks fun!! XD Lina is amazing. Just amazing. She stands out so much from all the other anime protagonists, and that makes her extrememly unique. Go Lina!! (I also admire the fact that she's so easy to write about. Her personality just kind of bounces off the other characters, making writing fanfiction a whole lot more fun!)
And Warrick! Oh my gosh, I love him!! He's probably my favourite character from Namesake (and Agha, because she's so huggable. Haha~)
The other fandoms I'm not familiar with, but they look like really neat characters!
This looks like such fun, so "It's over 9000!" (I must warn you that my fandoms are somewhat limited... I need to broaden the amount of animes and such that I watch...)
