It's only a matter of time, my love, und the world is ours. Figuratively speaking of course. This is the moment of reflection und getting to know each other. Spending time with you is the perfect gift that I could ever receive. The Egyptian roses are still thriving und they are getting larger! *beams with pride ( ... )

*smiles, traces the letters fondly as he looks at both sides of the medallion* These circles are cartouches. They represent the names of royalty. This is my given name on either side, and this was my royal crest. The Eye of Horus with the wings of a falcon. This is his name. Notice how the cartouche in not double-ringed.

On this side is your crest and your name in Egyptian phonetics: Polt, two Reeds, Jar, Viper, Mouth, two Reeds, Hand. "Z-EE-G-F-R-EE-D". The sun at the top says that you are blessed by the gods to be a good king.

*looks over Atem's shoulder with interest* Ahh, so the double circles on the cartouches means royalty while the single circle means court? Either way, it's still beautiful. So that's what my name looks like in Egyptian phonetics? Interesting. It's long.

*chuckles* This is only your given name! Add on family name and title, cartouches can be far more elaborate! My full name was over twenty-five characters long!

*unfastens it to put it on* Its a thoughtful gift. *stroke of inspiration, looks over his shoulder at Zigfried* Help me put it on?

I know how it feels to grow up in a country that doesn't accept homosexuality. Actually, your country is more liberal than mine. >.> And the new one I moved to isn't that crazy about it, either. They take the ostrich-head-in-sand approach...

*sigh* And stop calling him Kaiba! THAT'S MY NAME TOO!!! Sheesh!

I meant no disrespect, Amelda-kun. Its always how I've called him! I'll try to say "Seto-kun," but I hope he doesn't mind the familiarity of it. Especially now!

Uh, no. No kun. Just say Seto. If he has a problem with it, he can bite me.

No "kun"? *shrugs* Fine with me.

As for Seto, I don't think he'd mind being bitten by you!

*chuckles, realizing that she did not know beforehand about his past* You really are a "just go with the flow" person, aren't you? Seriously, if you have questions...
