Nelo Angelo had no idea what had happened to him. Certainly he'd viewed the debriefing report upon his arrival, and he did not not understand what was told him--he was intelligent, despite what his master planned for/thought of him--but that did not mean it made very much sense or pleased him. And it was not the entirety of things to him. There was something else.
A presence he had sought out for decades that he could not find was suddenly now here, accessible to him. He wondered how this being could have gotten here, and was it to hide specifically from him and his master? Or was this chance all just coincidence.
In the end it didn't matter much. While Angelo found that his teleportation ability still worked perfectly, no matter how hard he concentrated and how many times he tried he could not leave this world and return home. (The best he could find was the castle that his master planned on using for a base of operations after opening the Hellgate to the human realm. However, he could find no tear in the two realities to allow him access to Hell as it should have been.) Therefore he was stuck here, as were many others he supposed, and he would just have to make do. He would figure something out; of that he had no doubts. In the meantime he would do his best to become familiar with this world. If he was going to be stuck in it then he was going to be prepared.
And he still had a mission to preform. And now he had the most opportune chance to complete it with the elusive Son of Sparda within his grasp.
He would do that, within time. First he wanted to find the perfect area for a battle he was sure would be well worth the wait. And, oddly enough, he simply found himself curious with his new surroundings and wanting to explore them with an open mind. This was part of the reason why he was using his limited doppleganger ability. (At least, that is what he called it. For he knew the form was that of the Son of Sparda and not his own. His true form was the Devil Knight. That was that. What he didn't know was that had he survived to grow up in his original life that the "doppleganger" form he took was actually much more a 'corrupted' form of his own true appearance. He, too, had once been a Son of Sparda.) Wandering around as a human he looked more or less natural in the city rather than standing out.
He stopped briefly and pressed a pale hand to a shop's window and peered inside curiously. After a moment his eyes focused more closely to see his reflection. He was pale, almost statuesque marble white, with what he thought were handsome human features, and with even whiter hair slicked back perfectly. His eyes were red, and he frowned at this. After a moment of concentration they changed to a light blue.
Satisfied, he moved on, his purple coat trailing lazily behind him.
