[Lilith is great at not dwelling on the things bothering her. She is not so fantastic at suppressing her reactions, her emotions, her ~feeeeeeelings~.As a result, she's been spending most of her time in the gym, not avoiding Mordecai (really, truly) and generally being more ornery than what's usually called for. More picky about what she eats,

[Mordecai's been wandering. After waking up the morning after the party butt naked and sharing a pillow with a woman her certainly did not expect, he'd found himself conflicted and damn near feeling guilty.

Constant mental reassurance that he had no reason to feel as such was smacked down by the fact that his Siren buddy and team mate hadn't been hanging around like she usually does.

He's not looking for her when he spies her at the buffet, but moves over to stand by Lilith and eye off the selection.]

Lilith doesn't have to force the derisive snort, or the self-assured hair toss, or the pointed lack of attention. He looks to be more interested in the food anyway, from her view.]
