I saw figs and almost bought them today, but then I realized I'm nowhere near as motivated or talented in the kitchen as you, and they would probably just rot in my fridge. That looks delicious though!
Thanks, but they're pretty good straight as well. About half of them I simply washed and ate raw. They seem to be rare even down here so I try to get them whenever I can.
Note from the recipe: white pepper is NOT a substitute for pink pepper. That stuff is super pungent.
