According to Wikipedia she's been a guest on all those prime time singing and dancing competition shows that I avoid watching. I give her credit for not sounding like all the other interchangeable radio-friendly crap that I avoid listening to.

So what have you been up to lately?

Okay, so I've fast-forwarded her before.

I've been up to next to nothing. The most interesting thing that happened, I have yet to act upon. I have a lead for some freelance writing work. I need to send in a writing sample. I've been obsessing over this for about a month now. I really need to just send something, but I have extreme bouts of paranoia and self-doubt which cause me to put it off. Wish me luck.

In a couple days I'll do a proper update with photos, but in lieu of that --

We got her home late Sunday afternoon, after the 90 minute drive from Madison WI back to Milwaukee. As of 3 hours ago she's still slightly freaked out and hiding under the bed. But she did spend most of the night on top of the bed, looking out the window, pouncing me when I wiggled my fingers, and laying across my wife's neck while purring.
