[There's a girl wandering the darkened woods tonight, looking weary and very much lost. She's limping a little as she walks, hugging herself against the night chill and trying to calm herself down enough to hear over her heartbeat pounding in her ears

[Well that startles her just a little. She stifles a scream at the sudden contact, making something of a squeak instead, and goes into the phase. Now completely intangible, she passes through Sheik like a ghost, only to stumble in the wet leaves and land on her butt.]

W-who are you?

[phasingly]

[She puts her hand to her chest, breathes. He looks strange with his face covered like that, but he seems like he's trying to be nice, and she knows never to judge a book by its cover.]

You startled me.

[Action]

[What the hell is April doing out? Maybe just getting a little air. Problematically, though, she's gotten herself lost in the woods. Again.]

H-hello? Anyone there?

[phasingly]

Wha? [She limps over toward the sound of April's voice. She sounds friendly, maybe even just as scared as she is.] Yeah, over here!

[Action]

[April stomps over to the girl, barely noticing that anything is wrong with her at first, so frustrated is she at these woods. It's not the first time she's been lost, you see.]

Can you believe these stupid woods? I've been out here for TWO HOURS. UGH!

[Action]

[phasingly]

[April's tone makes her blink a bit, but she's otherwise unfazed.]

Oh, yeah. They're really pretty, but I hate how I keep getting dumped like this.

[She wobbles and goes to lean against the rough bark of a maple tree. She's feeling a little lightheaded.]

[Do you hear that twig cracking? Argilla's just transformed back. Sorry if she startles you.]

[She presses a hand to her mouth and reels around behind her toward the sound. The motion makes her a little light-headed, but she manages to crouch behind a tree and hide.]

[You're inevitably making noise when you do that, Kitty.]

Who's there?

[Yipes! She's found out. But that voice...

She stands up and phases through the tree.]

Argilla?

[OH SNAP there's a giant wolf trotting by!

[She'll just slap a hand over her mouth to keep from screaming and not move a muscle. Maybe it won't notice she's there >> ]

[No luck! He stops, swiveling his big head back and forth... oh wait - hey, he recognizes you.

... oh dear.]

[See Kitty. See Kitty slowly dissolve into the tree she was leaning against. Unfortunately her ankle keeps her from running very far, and she just winds up hiding behind it.]

[Kurt has spent a lot of nights up on the top of building seven, just watching over the village. Maybe it makes him feel like Batman. Or maybe it just is something he can do when he's lonely. On this particular night, however, he thinks he spots someone stumbling home from the woods. Is that who he thinks it is?]

[It is indeed! Kitty is wobbily making her way to the front entrance, obviously limping and very tired. She'll be happy to climb into her nice warm bed. She'll be even happier to see that Kurt is well and safe.]

[Score! It is! Wasting no time, he takes the short trip down to the bottom with a quick BAMF and appears in her path.]

Kitty! You're back!

[phasingly]

Kurt! [She smiles weakly, sways a little, and more or less falls into hugging him, throwing her arms around his neck.] Yeah, finally. I feel like I'm going to pass out.
