Well shit, I'm gonna be a Texan now. I didn't really ask for it for my birthday, but I guess it'll do. I-I don't know how I feel about exactly, I'm sort of shifting between having a huge grin and tears welling up in my eyes. I'm glad to have earned a proper job, but I'm so very sad to have to leave everyone that I love. More to follow later.

Moo. Heh, I'm going to be a "trainee seismic data processing engineer" (yeesh, thats a mouthful) for WesternGeco in Houston, TX. Basically, I get to use the second largest parallel computer in the world and one of the largest data stores in the world to analyze seismic data. Woot.
