When I was in Japan, I found that people knew Ohio is a state, but usually got it confused with Iowa. Or sometimes Idaho. I guess it's understandable. They seem pretty good with the east and west coasts, just everything in between is a blur.

lol that's so true. To my imagination, what's between Cali. and New York are cows, cotton fields, puff the magic dragon, Texas, and probably Ohio...orz
