(I mentioned this at Thanksgiving in Steven's conversation about classic books to read.)
This is the diary of Samuel Pepys, done as a blog. It's pretty interesting and informative. I suppose this could be related to some of the things you might study, since it's written at the time of the Oliver Cromwell fiasco, late 17th c. Interesting. But it's definitely after the English Civil War, which I imagine will be the main part of your reading.
But, anyhow, maybe you will enjoy this!
