I confess I sometimes judge people according to music not becaus eof the music but when they agree with the ideas that the band support. Like, to not name it, a band here who's doing rap (I have nothign against rap, I listen to a bit myself sometimes) but they are racist and mysoginist and some people love the band because the songs are racist and mysoginist. And this, I can't handle.
But when you love a band for the music LOVE EVERYTHING. The more diversity in taste there is the better.

I hear you about this writing thing. I have this whole storyline written for years but I'm such a bad writer it will always stay a storyline XD

Some people think that whatever music that they listen to is superior to others. I've got a few music snobs in my family. I've found it best just to ignore them because the concept of people liking different types of music falls on deaf ears with them lol.

OMG i used to be such a music snob during my teens D: but now i'm just really glad if someone has the same music interests as me :}

I was always like everyone likes different music and that's why there's a ton of different types of music. My younger brother is a HUGE music snob! He's gotten better with it over the years, but there was a lot of time spent with him making it sound like the world was coming to an end because he had to listen to music that he didn't like, which wasn't "real" music. I like all kinds of music but I don't mind having to sit through music that I don't care for. There are very few songs that I cannot stand and would rather not have to listen to it, but I'll still sit through it and just be glad when the song ends lol. Except of course in the worst days of his music snobbery where I jokingly acted like a music snob about his music and he did not like that at all lol

Well the people irl around me don't really have the music vibe in them idk they just listen to the radio and sometimes i give them some recomendations {depending on a person the recs are different ofc}

OMG i'm a music whore of sorts. You can find almost everything in my phone rn. But rn i really lobe new Bastille album, Kodaline {and waiting for their first album in June}, Daughter is amazing, David Bowie has his new album and i'm not really sure if i like it that much, fun., Icona Pop, Hurts, Lykke Li, Marina and the Diamonds + Guano Apes and Sandra Nasic, Garbage, Placebo, Nightwish + some piano compilations :}

I've been thinking about Chris Brown lately tbh. I think that those who listen to his songs has the right to not know of him as a person. Well i wonder if anyone in my real life will even know that he dated Rhianna and about the abuse thing. I think a man can still enjoy his music and be not here for him as a person, though i haven't listened to his songs so i don't really know what they are about.. Though i would def side eye that person.

And 1D thinng is okay you're not the first and will not be the last :D

Yes-yes exactly my point - you can still don't get the band or a music style but there is no need in generalizing all of the people who like those kind of music and then judge them for that !
