Saw "Avengers" for the second time today...

The theater was about 80% full and I'd say about half of that was still first timers, which surprised me since this is the 3rd weekend now. I noticed a couple of things that didn't really register the first time...

Speaking as a hipster comic geek, I could point you in the direction of the What If... issue where Iron Man is a girl and marries Cap.

LOL - Nice! The 'hipster comic geek' point came based on a post I saw flipping through the Avengers tag on Tumblr by someone complaining about shippers who 'didn't understand what Black Widow meant and were to stupid to know that Cap would never date Tony because Howard got him killed' or something like that. Its nice to know that the comics can be as crazy as the fandom. :)

Comics are way crazier than fandom... And we have alternate universes and multiverses and what if 'verses and 616 'verses... anything goes.

Some people just need to get over themselves (and out of their parents basement). :)

Apparently it wasn't a Jossing--Coulson's fate was written into the script before they gave it to Mr. Whedon. Oddly enough.

Really? Source? Joss has the only screenplay credit and 1 of 2 story credits.

Interesting. I mean, they're not wrong - it kinda had to be done. There's a part of me who now wants to know who Joss would've killed if left to his own devices. Cause you know it would've been someone.
