The DoD is usually for breast cancer research, right? I wonder if they'd let this old-timer try for some money...the next phase of my project will be in a breast cell system.

Yep, it's a breast cancer grant. From the instructions, it seems like a fairly open grant. I was floored by the fact that it was open, and encouraged, for postdocs to apply. Very strange...
