So... I officially met him tonight- meaning Brandon- yes I saw his concert, yes we've been talking for more than a month- but he came to visit me over coffee this evening. The only thing you can do is to move forward without looking back. Waiting at this point will only make things worse and ingrain within you a willingness to wait. A kind of sick hold-out for something that, even if it did eventually happen, wouldn't be the best thing for you anyway. So move on, woman. You have the ability to grasp whatever you desire, and the thing you ought to be grasping for most is your well-being. Love you.
