Yeah food is all ok - not as much as I'd like, but still a considerable ammount.
I just re-looked at the figures, and I basically have arse for spending money this pay, like 52c for a fortnight, but after that I should have about 70 or so per fortnight, including some to Sharon to keep her happy. Its not as bad as it probably sounded, but i needed to vent! ;-)
The bitch is, if I found a new job that paid more, I'd lose all of the working for families and winz benefits, plus I'd pay more student loan repayments, higher tax bracket, and then lose 4% to Kiwisaver.
Well, you do if you change jobs. you can only opt out if you join of your own free will, and after six months. (afaik)
Yeah money situation is better now. Just got a payrise, and the IRD isn't going to pounce on me for this... Still means the next two weeks I have like 30 bucks free.
Man all that really sucks! We are going to have to budget hard-out when we move north, the only thing we will keep is the internet, Sky is definately going out the window. It's going to suck going down to one income until Shane gets a pay rise (it pretty much doubles his income) in his new job :/
Shit I'm on dialup here! I use work for my downloads. :D
Make sure, when you get the birth certificate, that you sign up for the parental tax break, and all the other fun stuff. I think I've rambled on about it before? :P
We're down to dialup speed due to using all our broadband allowance, oops :)
We will have to wait for the tax credit til after the 18th Jan cos I'll still be getting income from my job despite not even living in Nelson by then :P
yeah and you've gotta have the birth cert first, which takes a few weeks... its an annoying process, get the birth cert (four weeks), then the IRD number, and then the form for the tax credit... argh..
Actually yes! I'll check with the boss. Lilly's just come down, said HIIIIII, grabbed my drink bottle, and is now waddling down the hallway looking for dinner.... and is now barking.
Yeah they cut my working for families down to 71 from 101, just for earning an extra 2k this year. But I got a slight payrise yesterday, and because I'll still be within a certain bracket for the year, IRD arn't going to dick me out of it... so I can breathe :)
ooooh I didn't know that number... thanks :) I always have food covered... well, almost always. I have some nasty habits that are expensive (eg sanitarium's peanut butter, not pams, because the pams peanut butter is just smooth with chunks)...
