Hi, you! :;cuddles:; No guilt! LJ is for fun and that's voluntary.
Me, I'm still writing, pro and fic and still very much into The Sentinel right now.
Everything else, husband, children, cats, all the same, all well. We had another dishwasher flood (bad) but I got a whole new kitchen from the insurance people (good).
You're not the only one who's relocated to a more bug-hospitable environment. I thought Dallas couldn't handle me . . . it's doing a better job than I thought it would. Never fear, I will conquer.
So good to hear from you! I was glancing through the ODD archive just the other day and wondered whatever happened to your Awesomeness. (snuggle!) -BJ
Okay, not sure if I can explain it in any way that makes sense but here goes
Have you ever sat up all night and watched the sunrise, (especially at the beach) and noticed how when the sun finally cracks the horizon, it's like this blaze of fire that sort of washes everything clean?
It's like that. And I needed it, because I was going through a serious bad patch when I changed my name.
I KNEW there was someone who had taken a longer LJ hiatus than I had! Excellent. Hi! Welcome back! I disappeared off the scene in the end of January and came back a couple weeks ago. Updates in my life are:
1) Got my B.A. on the 14th, in Communication 2) My family and I moved from a fabulous little suburb off of Sacramento to the big, scary Bay Area. 3) I'm starting Santa Clara Law School on Aug 13th!
Congrats on the Masters, HUGE accomplishment, and congrats on the apartment all to yourself, and CONGRATS ON THE BOYFRIEND!!! So very exciting.
Of course the boyfriend merits all caps! (Hello, boyfriend!) The Masters was all you, and you kicking ass is so not a problem. Finding a boyfriend necessitates the involvement of a second person, and since I am still terminally single, vicarious news of boyfriends is far more exciting than a boring old degree.
Thank you. It was exciting. The Bay Area's been all right so far. Too many people, but pleasant temperatures. And that's pretty much my exact frame of mind for law school. Hard, but exciting.
No, you're doing fine!! Don't even worry about it.
I totally understand what you mean, about being away for a while. It's always hard to get back into LJ. ::nods:: Still, it's good to see you around! It sounds as if things are going really well! ::huge hugs::
These days, things are going very well, though there was some friction a while ago. Things now are good and getting better! It sounds as if things are going well for you, too! ::huge hugs::

*L* so who's winning then? You or Dallas? You do know that you shouldn't mess with Texas right? At least that's what all those t-shirts tell me.

Missed you too. EB kept me a bit up to date though. How's it going?

(And he is reading over my shoulder and finds it amusing that he merited all caps over the degree and everything else *L*)
Congrats on the degree! Hopefully Bay Area is treating you right so far? Good luck in Law School! Sounds hard but exciting
*nervous laugh* ah yeah...it's been a long time.
