Poem of Charlie (Lost) fanfic I've not yet typed up. From the POV of my OC of the story who's name is Elixir. The last lines shamelessly nicked from Dom's song Shadow on Viggo's fantastic album Pandemoniumfromamerica.
I remember.
The morning after when you left and I could smell you on the pillow.
The way you ran you finger along my collar bone while I was sleeping.
When you came in through my window the night he hit me.
How you touched my hair and held my hand the day he died.
The taste of your blood in my mouth when you were fighting and I kissed you.
I can feel it.
When I came to you after so long and you let me take it away with me.
The way the music would play in the dark hour on the floor.
How the fireworks went over the wall when we were alone.
The day you stood between us and told him no when he was killing me.
The look in your eye when you lied and said this was my song.
Oh God I remember.
It is heavy, I can feel this.
How can nothing weigh so much, pulling me down?
