Hngk! I need to join that comm! *sprints off*

Um yes. Thank you. Bouts of feminist rage are random and unpredictable. But they're there. xD

Did wtf_sexism blog about Utah outlawing miscarriages? I lack the time to archive binge that far back.

I find I get them less often when I plug my ears and close my eyes and stuff my face with cooler ranch doritos B|b

Yeah, it did :3 On top of all kinds of things I never would have heard about otherwise.

This. Yes.
It's really sort of sad that there are so many people who can be so insensitive and think in such a manner. D: I blame society and upbringing, mostly - some people just have these deeply ingrained prejudices and fears, especially when it comes to things that they don't fully understand.
I noticed during my high school years that the kids around me were a lot more scared and unsure of what to think regarding sexuality, but, now that I'm in college, people seem to be a lot more open and comfortable with things.
I personally think that people can have whatever sexual preferences they'd like, and no one has any right to judge them or tell them otherwise.

Mm. Sexism especially is subconscious and unintentional 80% of the time--assumptions about gender are just what we've grown up with. Some lucky people are immune; I'm not, and I've been known to behave in a sexist way. The little things, like Action Girls without love interests always and predictably dying in films, are the most rampant. And the easiest to miss.

I personally think that sexual preference is really not something you can pick and choose at will, and it's also not important. At all. ._.

How... does an ethnic group act like their ethnic group? :|

They don't; people just assume they do. You know, "you're acting really Asian", comments like that--which, following a statement like "I'm not racist!", is rather ironic.

There's no such thing as a tertiary racial characteristic--I'm aware, I harp about it all the time.
