after a really rough weekend, things are on the mend. ... seemingly.

i called a location about doing volunteer work and have an appointment to meet with them on friday.

also, i met with my new neuro today, and my absence seizures are now classified as primary generalized epilepsy- based on my seizure history ((ive had grandmals and complex partials

I am glad that you found a doctor that you like. I am sorry that if things don't get better that you might have to take the next step.... but I guess in a way isn't that a good thing that this doctor cares enough to make sure that you are getting the right treatment and everything? I mean who knows maybe your old doctors didn't really know what was going on with you and well something bad could have happened. Just stay open to everything. As for passing it on.... I am not sure how much I believe in all of that because if so then why don't my parents have some things that I have or why don't my grandparents have some of the stuff I do? I believe that things can skip and if you do what your doctors tell you to do and take care of yourself your better off.

Anyways I am happy to hear that you are doing better!!!

I kind of worry too about having children with the chance of passing on my epilepsy. (I don't even know if it's genetic - but my grandma had seizures when she was young similar to mine, so maybe it is)
