I've been reading about a lot of those lately.

The more we try to plan things out, the more it happens.
All the more reason not to plan anything.

I realize it's nothing new. Only the systematic study of it is relatively new.

You said, "The more we try to plan things out, the more it happens." Since the unintended consequences can be both positive and negative, do you wonder if there are factors that can promote positive outcomes beyond those intended, serendipities. My heart tells me there are.
