I am a huge fan of messenger bags, and I really love that National Geographic bag. I'd totally use that as my purse if it wasn't so expensive. :<

And I hear ya on the cockroach thing, but the ones we get here aren't bigger than about a centimeter, so they don't really bother me. The first one I saw I didn't even know was a cockroach at first. We have huge friggin' spiders though, bigger than a quarter, and they're about the only thing I freak out bad enough to want to kill.

Yea, the bag is awesome... Really want it but wary of the cost. I might get it for myself for christmas.
