Long time, no post. I'm sorrry. I've been busy lately with lots of stand-up comedy and doing improv on wednesdays with some friends. I've also recently opened up a deviant art account, but I have to admit that I am more than a little nervous to post anything there as my arts not quite where I want it to be...but you gotta start somewhere right ( Read more... )

It was brilliant, yes. There are some posts on my journal with pictures. I hope to be making more, but it's been so busy and crazy lately. It was a beautiful trip, and the weather held out nicely for the most part.

The driving was a little scary at first, but I got used to it...for the most part. It was really lovely of Andy to send me. I won't soon forget the trip.

very nice. Will you be using it for a new travelogue?

If I really liked the guy already and knew him well and wanted to go on a date with him for some time, then it would be an easy yes.

If this was someone I wasn't sure I wanted to date, I probably would struggle with it a bit, and then decide that the guy was entertaining kids with cancer for goodness sake, and give it a go.

I was more self conscious when I was younger and more easilty embarrassed. It might have been more of a struggle than it would be now.

Ok. I just watched your stand-up and you were really very funny. I loved it. It made me laugh and smile and laugh. I liked the part where you pray for glasses especially. Really fine writing.

That was great. You should do more. Can I link to it on my LJ?

Y'ello there! :) Good to hear from you again.

Ooh, I'd been thinking about seeing Paper Heart. I'll have to check it out now!

And if I knew the person well enough I would probably dress in costume as well. Haha. I could imagine that being rather awkward though, if I didn't know them all too well. This is a curious question, what prompted it?

definitely check it out. The extra pieces are great too.

The question was one I used to ask people when I worked at my school's cafeteria to pass the time. It was based on me and my friend going to the mall and seeing two female clowns blowing up balloons and I think they worked for a charity organization of some sort. They were attractive from what we could tell, but we couldn't tell their age so we just went back to campus.

Okay, my favourite part of your act was the "then I realised the Hulk was a fictional character...and NOT A CHEMIST." The praying for glasses part was also very good, though.

Life's been...yeah. Boss is trying to get me thrown out of school again, bf is still unemployed, best friend's dad died over the weekend but I won't make it to the memorial since I'm not home for Christmas. God bless us, every one.

How'd those art cards turn out?

boo to your boss. Hope this week's starting off better?

The art cards turned out all right. I haven't uploaded the images yet, plus I think my art's gotten better since then. I've set up a deviant art account so I just might start linking to any art I post there if people want to see it. Most of its comic strips I did for friends, but I likes em.

Glad you enjoyed the stand-up!

Yeah, this week's better - because he's not here. I'm looking forward to seeing more art!
