i remember being in your position a year back. i think that for my team in particular, we felt it really strongly. we believed in it, that we could've really won the gold. we gave our souls, we sacrificed our all, towards that goal

this is hong cheong visiting from the previous batch, after justin alluded to psyched up pre-comp posts. unfortunately during the finals i'll be bashing my way through god forsaken jungles instead of cheering for you guys at kallang, but hope the team does itself proud come next week anyway.

p.s. when i saw the lyrics to "running" on your blog the feeling of déjà vu was unimaginably intense. quite a few from the prev. batch had that same song looping in their heads throughout the entire comp, quite a special song to a few of us.. play it on the night of the finals (after all the madness), and you'll get what i mean.

can feel the pre-comp tension and anxiety all over again...take control and never let them overwhelm you.
