As if it could be unhealthy to eat fruits, grains, and vegetables! Yes, hurry, let's replace those with pork, read meat, eggs, and cheese! People!! You're not making sense.

crazy atkins stuff. when i went back to CA in june everyone was talking about the south beach diet. i'm so glad that its not all about that over here.

i'm still not sure! so many people have tried to explain it to me, and i get varied definition. in short, i think its a atkins spin-off.

obviously the two of us need to, you know, get on top of all this diet stuff.

I know it! We're just behind on the trendiest of the trendiest, at least when it comes to dieting. If we don't work on this, we might, uhh... well, we might eat some fruit or something. And nobody wants that!

I have no idea what a net carb is. I just know they're evil. I learned that from Dick Cheney when I was watching Fox news.

A net carb is the amount of carbs in something minus the total amount of fiber. 18 carbs minus 9 grams of fiber = 9 net carbs. I know this because my mom's diabetic and has to limit her carb intake. Why people want to eat the way you have to eat when you're diabetic is a mystery to me.

Huh, do you know why you subtract the fiber from the carbs? Is there something about the fiber that negates the effects of the carbs?
