Going to see Closer today. Hope it's as good as you say it is because I have heard all different things about the movie.

Well I didn't say it was 'good'. But I think it was a worthwhile movie to be made. Plenty of people I know have found it too full on, walked out, etc...

i saw it with jasper tonight, used up my 'la premiere' gift voucher. I was sickened in a number of parts, it made me speechless for a good half hour which is a cinematic achievement. either that or i lost my innocence and spent that half hour growing up.

but anyway, yep. have to agree with you about the slap in the face, it just droops all over the place, overwhelming all sense of self-delusion that we are naturally selfless beings.

And to think they are plugging it almost as if it's a romantic comedy. I guess it is kinda cool you saw it with Jaz, in a weird way I'd almost recommend it to all long term couples.. as a good way to make sure the motives in the relationship are all tip-top. Kinda like reading Corinthians before you plant a church.
PS: It will take at least a week before you stop thinking about it all the time.
