Yay for holidays and ice cream. You can have five pounds of weight from me if you like. I suspect I would win in an ice cream competition. Or maybe not. Ro beat me to finishing hers on Friday but maybe thats because I was talking lots.

YAY KITTIES. There has been lots of happy kitties new on my f-list today and it is so nice.

Spa sounds nice! Especially a spa with ice cram and Star Trek and reading, yay! And sleeping! Bonus! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sounds like a perfect recovery plan.

But kitties are always always always nice. It's just too bad they couldn't have done the grocery shopping right before you got back. Lazy bones.

Well, to be fair, they were boarded. We can't trust them in the house without us. One -- ahem -- in particular tears things up, eats the food and generally knocks things over.

I caught an older stray once that ate *anything* she could get her paws on. She tipped over a full-sized trash can to get at a bone from a leg of lamb I had thrown away and ate 1/4 of an angel food cake off the counter. She was fierce and lovely. Cats are amazing. Just not good at grocery shopping. Hee!

Teco eats through plastic and tin foil. And gets frantic when her people are gone.

Yay for relaxing time away from home! With ice cream and books and sitting in the sun! It sounds lovely, and I'm with emerald on this: you are more than welcome to five pounds from me, if you ever need them.

Cheers!

Thanks, but I think I'd really like five pounds of MUSCLE, which I seem to have lost a good deal of. I hope you're readjusting to domestic US life these days after all your exciting travels!

Yes, I'm trying to work on that muscle thing myself.

The adjusting is going... well-ish. The traveling was lovely, though, and I do miss it very, very much.
