Woohoo!  Came back from seeing "Midnight in Paris" (which you should see, if for nothing else, for Hemingway, who is hilarious -- also I want Gertrude Stein to read my novel) to a rubber-banded stack of mail.  Included one of my sister's packages, with the obligatory origami and handwritten letter that makes me laugh out loud.  Also included -- and ( Read more... )

Awwww, that is so sweet! I agree, Sounisians are the best (here I am making a huge leap assuming the fan is a Sounisian, but I am even guessing who it might be). I love your fans as well, Philia, because they are discerning and smart. I only wish I knew one in publishing. I have missed you lately, but have been dealing with my demon (depression) which tends to isolate me, especially when I think of you dealing with a life-threatening illness; then I feel guilty and ridiculous and paralyzed and stupid. And here I am bringing your happy post down; sorry! ♥♥♥
