Hi, everyone,

This is bluestalking, posting on behalf of Philia and her family.

Philia passed away on Tuesday morning (the first day of spring). She was not in pain, it happened in her sleep, and she was in the company of her family.

My heart breaks for you, Dr C and Wildcat. I felt close to Philia immediately, even though I only met her twice in person. She was special to me.

So sorry to hear this.

I'm sad that I didn't get to meet Philia in person, and guilty of almost entirely dropping out of communication these last couple of years, and happy that I knew her online. I very much enjoyed "talking" to her on LJ and Chatzy.

My sympathies to all of Philia's family and friends. Thank-you 'guin for performing the hard task of breaking the news, and virtual hugs. (I've met you so I hope you don't mind.) Dr C and Wildcat, we haven't met and haven't talked, but Philia sometimes mentioned you. I've been in your position and it was heartbreaking and life-changing. My thoughts are with you, and I'm sorry I can't help in any real way.
