Netflix and Blu-Ray

I'm a big fan of Netflix. I have a two-at-a-time plan and make sure that I return my movies as soon as I watch them, which is usually the day I receive them. Still, I manage to maintain a queue of about 120 movies, and I'm constantly adding to it ( Read more... )

Money makes people crazy. I get daily examples of that. You would think they would understand Blu-Ray costs more, so renting them will also cost more.

Don't worry Netflix, I am still on your side!

How did you accidentally buy a Blu-Ray drive?

I dont mind paying more. But I have a half a dozen movies in my queue not moving. All they say is long wait. Im paying "more" for a service that I cant use. Ive resorted to driving down to Blockbuster and renting movies there and coming back and taking them off my queue. I have not received a new movie in a week. Im getting 2-3 blurays a month now, with some always in my queue. Its more cost effective and less frustrating renting them the old way.

We should not have to pay more for a broken system.

so the price is $2 now. i'm not an insufferable jerk, but i'm also not taking them up on the plan and since i was never charged for blue ray option on my old BB plan this does seem a little worth whining about. on the bright side, having a "free" online option does kind of even things out a bit:)
