Poll on how you read my blog

I am considering switching from LiveJournal to a self-maintained Movable Type. More and more I like the idea of blogging and want to become more active, but I don't like that LiveJournal (the company) keeps my blog posts on their system. 1) I read your blog exclusively through my LJ friends page.
2) I use Google Reader to aggregate other blogs that I read that aren't on LJ, including individual friends' blogs and interest-related blogs. So if you switched to a different site, I would probably add it to my Google Reader subscriptions. BUT I have to say I tend to stay more current with LJ posts than with those on Google Reader.

I've only recently started keeping track of LJ again, but if you were to get a blog elsewhere, I'd just subscribe to the RSS feed. (I would actually rather do this for LJ, but as far as I can tell private posts don't show up in LJ RSS feeds, so it's not really a very good option.)

I read your blogs through my LJ friends list, partly because I'm lazy but mostly because I've never heard of a 'blog aggregator' before.
