Awwwwwwwwwww is right. This is a sweet treat. While Seth's motives are purely selfish and mocking, I can see where Sandy and Kirsten would be very interested and pleased to get some sort of glimpse of Ryan as a young child. The very few photographs they've seen that wouldn't have been institutional in nature (and those would have been haunting, disturbing, or at least clinical and impersonal), would have been the closest they could come to forming some impression of what Ryan might have been like, but a still photo is so different from video with all the additional clues and insights that movement and the duration of time would have been a far richer source of information. Even if Ryan, as Snoopy, was a silent character, they could have watched him and really seen him- despite the costume that hid him to an extent, not just him frozen in a select moment
